Huggins’ fall blamed on medication (AP)
West Virginia University says basketball coach Bob Huggins’ rib-breaking fall occurred because medication taken on an empty stomach left him lightheaded. President James Clements and Athletic Director Oliver Luck told the Charleston Daily Mail that Huggins stood too quickly, tripped and fell into a table in his Las Vegas hotel room last week.
Agent: Heat, House agree on 2-year deal (AP)
Eddie House’s agent says the veteran guard has agreed to terms on a $2.8 million, two-year contract with the Miami Heat. Agent Mark Bartelstein said Thursday that the second year is a player option. House was a second-round draft pick by the Heat in 2000 and spent his first three NBA seasons with them.
